In 2008, 40 percent of all teenagers with Internet access reported being bullied online.
Cyber bullying can take many forms.  It could be rude texts from unknown phone numbers.
A bully might post threats on your personal message board.  Or they could break into your facebook account and lock you out.

If you or your kids are being cyber bullied, experts say, the first thing you should do.. is resist the urge to retaliate.
If you think your child is being cyber bullied, experts say one of the best things you can do is be informed, understand what instant messaging is and know who your child is communicating with and when they’re doing it.

Start early in your training of your children.  Teach them kindness starting with the age of 2 or 3 and you will see it pay off in future.  In fact the more we encourage and demonstrate being kind, giving others compliments and helping others the less likely we will be a victim of any bullying.
